The legend: in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, the Acai Palm bore a unique fruit, the Acai Berry. This small, round, deep purple berry was named after the Tupian word “iwasa’I,” meaning “the fruit that cries,” due to its high-water content. The legend tells of the Tupi people of Belem do Para, Brazil, who faced starvation. To control the population, their leader, Itaki, ordered the sacrifice of every newborn. His daughter, Iaca, lost her child to this decree and prayed to Tupa, the god of thunder, for help. One night, Iaca heard a child’s cry and found her daughter under a large palm tree. The next morning, the people found Iaca under the tree, with small black fruits above. After tasting the fruit, Itaki realized it was a gift from Tupa. Named after Iaca, the fruit sustained the Tupi people and ended their hunger.
The Acai Berry, cultivated with care, became a symbol of life and health, offering numerous benefits. Today, it’s found in various food products worldwide, a testament to its incredible journey from the Amazon rainforest to Global health food stores and now it debuts in the world of perfumery.

Once upon a time, in the mountainous province of Fujian, China, a special plant known as Camellia sinensis thrived. This plant was not ordinary, for it bore a unique bud that would unfurl into a beautiful leaf. These buds, covered in fine silvery-white hairs, gave the plant a whitish appearance. This is where White Tea got his name. The cultivation of White Tea was a task that required patience and care. Each leaf was picked by hand and then withered for 72 hours either in direct sunlight or in a room with a carefully controlled climate. The leaves were then dried to prevent oxidation from occurring. White Tea when brewed, is typically light gold in color with a floral fragrance. Despite its name, sweet brewed White Tea is pale yellow.
White Tea is not just a beverage, it is a symbol of health and wellness. It is loaded with a type of polyphenols called catechins. Its consumption is linked to numerous health benefits, including the risk of heart disease, combatting skin aging, and even helping with weight loss.
As the popularity of White Tea grew, it began to find its way into various food products, medicinal uses and fragrances.
